Cars
We went and saw Cars after work last night. It was fun! Like all Pixar movies, it was a lot better than I expected it to be. It wasn't the best Pixar movie. It wasn't as good as say The Incredibles or Toy Story or Finding Nemo but it was at least equal to Monsters Inc or A Bug's Life. Afterward we went to California Pizza Kitchen and I had this veggie stir-fry pasta thing. It was tasty but on the cold side (I don't think it was supposed to be cold.) Sean was all disappointed 'cuz they took the Peking Duck pizza off the menu.
We picked up some new music in the past few days. I'm really enjoying Angels and Airwaves. I haven't listened to the whole album yet since I feel compelled to listen to "The Adventure" over and over again. We also got Rock Kills Kid, Arctic Monkeys and The Fray. I haven't listened to those yet. I'm excited about Arctic Monkeys though. That "I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor" song is addictive.
Here's what I ate yesterday:
B: oatmeal, blueberries, soy milk
L: orange tofu stir-fry
S: carrot sticks
D: veggie pasta stir-fry
Oh, and I had some red vines at the movie. Probably not the best choice nutrition-wise but at least I didn't have any of the butter-drenched popcorn that Sean and the kids were eating.

I feel the same way about Pixar movies. I have no desire to see them, but when I do I'm impressed. I didn't like the Incredibles, actually, because it was too long. Monsters, Inc. was hilarious. "Kitty!" And, uh, this might be sacreligious, but I don't like either of the Toy Story movies.
