Feeling Much Better

I'm finally feeling back to normal so I'm back to my healthy eating and exercise (not that I was eating junk food while I was sick, I wasn't eating much at all.) I can't believe it's Friday already. It seems like the week went by faster than normal. At least I'm feeling good for the weekend. Feeling sick on a weekday is inconvenient. Feeling sick on the weekend is a tragedy.

Here's my food and exercise log for yesterday:

B: oatmeal with soymilk, blueberries & strawberries, and flax seeds
L: Mu Shu vegetables (no egg) with plum sauce, salad with dressing
S: wasabi peas
D: chickpea burger on a WW bun with tahini dressing, salad with dressing

I resisted the urge to make brownies for desert.

Feeling icky

I haven't worked out since Friday. I lazed out all weekend and then Monday after lunch I started feeling sick. The kind of sick where you just want to go to bed and not get up until you feel better. I stayed home from work yesterday and kind of lazed around. Pretty much the only thing I felt like eating was toast and I also had some miso soup (which is about a million times better than chicken soup when you're sick, and it's easy to make, just fill a bowl with hot water, add miso and suddenly you have a delicious soup.) Emily made macaroni & cheese for dinner and I had a little of that. This morning I woke up with my stomach growling so I'm definitely feeling better today. I'm still not feeling great but I decided that I can be just as miserable at work and get paid. Unless I'm feeling a lot better by the time I get home, I'll probably skip out on today's workout too. The good news is that I finally broke 170 yesterday. I lost a pound and a half and I'm down to 168.5. Woohoo!
