It's been a while

I just realized it's been like, forever since I've written in this thing. Life hasn't even been that crazy, I'm just lazy. I'm trudging along with my diet. I'm not doing as well as I'd like but sometimes it's really hard to stay away from cheese, and french fries and chocolate. This week I'm in a training class at work and they're providing lunch every day. They've been including a few grilled veggie sandwiches for me, which are delicious but I'm sure the cheese and dressing on them aren't exactly diet-friendly (except we a lunch meeting yesterday and they forgot my sandwich so I had to eat the emergency lunch I had stashed in the work freezer.) The halloween candy doesn't help either. I'd like to register a complaint about the lack of dark chocolate in my children's halloween candy. I've had to settle for crappy milk chocolate.

In other news, we've discovered that something is leaking under our living room carpet. Tuesday night we noticed a couple of wet spots and figured that someone spilled a little water. By the time we got home from work last night the whole living room carpet was soaked so we called the landlord. They're supposed to send someone out today. The carpet was all squishy during my workout last night.

Tonight me and Sean are going to a concert. One of Sean's work buddies got some free tickets to see Aerosmith and Motley Crue and gave us some. They're "club seats" (whatever that means) and also passes to the VIP lounge where there will be free food and booze (too bad I don't drink.) It should be fun. It would've been more fun 15 years ago but that's okay.

Here's my log for yesterday:
B: breakfast burrito with egg whites, onions, salsa & avocado on a whole wheat tortilla
S: pear, 6 triscuits
L: vegan eggplant rolls (they were awesome, I don't know what was in the fake cheese that they filled them with but it was delicious), baked potato chips, cookie
S: lowfat brownie
D: pasta with tomatoes, onions & garlic with salad & lowfat dressing
S: dried apple slices, a few cashews
